Kevin Crawford

Kevin Crawford is the founder and principal consultant of Heliqa LLC, a healthcare IT consulting firm based in Lutz, Florida, in the Tampa Bay area.

Kevin started in patient care. For five years he worked as an Emergency Department technician and Primary Trauma Tech, assisting with codes, traumas, and strokes. He logged more than 3,000 hours shadowing a trauma surgeon to learn the full patient journey from the ED through the OR, ICU, and discharge. That clinical grounding has shaped every Epic® project since.

Over 13+ years of Epic implementations, Kevin has worked across the full lifecycle: hardware assessments, workflow validation with clinicians, workflow design, build, change management, testing, Technical Dress Rehearsal, go-live, and post-live support. He has owned ED navigator and narrator build across 10 emergency departments, led biomedical device integration for large Epic/Capsule rollouts, built Epic Anesthesia for a large academic health system, led TDR for hospital acquisitions, and managed third-party application integrations during a Cerner-to-Epic conversion.

He holds a B.S. in Human Physiology & Biology, with a minor in Business, from the University of Oregon.
